"...the apartment is just perfect for enjoying all of Miraflores.  We walked everywhere in the neighborhood,
from Huaca Pucllana to LarcoMar and down the cliffs to the beach!

We were also dazzled by your beautiful carved and inlaid wood furniture and the lovely and varied wall
hangings and ceramic pots!  Folks may also want to know about your extensive library, to know they don't
need to bring reading material.

We saw as much as we could every day, walked our legs off, and then finally resorted to cabs, city bus tours,
and of course the bus to Paracas and boat to Islas Ballestas -- even though we read about it in advance, we
could hardly believe the spectacle (and smell :) ) of those many thousands of birds packed onto those rock
islands.  While fewer in number, the sea lions stole the show for the folks on our boat.  Between the boat ride
and bus back, we paid an English-speaking driver for our own personal tour of the Paracas National Reserve,
which is pretty awe-inspiring all by itself.  As I'm sure you know, it is extremely hot desert (probably in the high
90's, while Lima was always 60's and 70's).  The red beach was probably the most unusual sight in the
Reserve.  We had lunch (totally fresh fish) at a little restaurant (the only one, we got the impression) on a
lovely little swimming beach.

We had so much good food (Astrid y Gaston, Fiesta, La Paz, Las Tejas just down the street from your
apartment to name a few), saw the Larco Museum and the Huaca Pucllana, had drinks at La Rosa Nautica
and a place on the beach in Barranco (and lots of other places),...Miraflores is just amazing, so lively and
festive, we wanted to be out there in the central park area every evening.

It was truly one of the most memorable vacations either of us has had, and we thank you and Mark again for
making it so easy for us!"
